I own a residential rental property and have been faced with a number of roof issues over the past few years. Each time an issue came up, I had to make the decision about repairing or replacing the roof. The roof has been that point where it could go either way. Repairs worked, but it wasn’t going to be long before a new roof was required. After opting for repairs for about three years, I finally got a new roof. I am going to share my reasoning behind when I chose repairs and why I did a new roof. I’m also going to share the roof options I was given and which type I chose.
